Tactile paw withdrawal threshold time (Lt. foot) proportional to right foot in SNL rats. The effect of SNL on mechanical allodynia was a 47 ± 6.1% decrease in the withdrawal threshold following left sciatic nerve damage. Significant differences in the left foot compared to the right foot were observed at all time points. *p  < 0.01
